pastor for Bethany Lutheran, Woodstock, with a compensation package to be

“The church council of Bethany
Lutheran Church supports Dale and Hooper Hadland on their mission to work in
Iquitos, Peru. Members may make
donations to the project and funds collected of up to $500.00 will be used by
Bethany to purchase Lutheran Books of Worship in Spanish for Dale and Hooper to
distribute. All other monies will be
submitted to Rotary International, Stratford Chapter, to purchase additional
medical supplies. ...”

ELW Spring Conference held at Bethany.”

“St. David’s United Church will be borrowing
the portable projector and laptop for use at the joint Vacation Bible School.”

“The National Church has written a
social statement on human sexuality....There will be a discussion of the
statement at the July 16th Pub Night. Comments
will be forwarded to the National Church.”

“I have been asked to serve with three
community groups: Habitat for Humanity Family Selection & Support
Committee, Waterloo Lutheran Seminary Worship Arts and Design Team,
co-ordinating special events and Chaplain for Operation Sharing’s Inn Out Of
The Cold program.”

preparatory work which includes an engineer.
The congregation has already voted to pursue looking into the project.”

$1,000.00 for engineering review of roof.”
Oct.3, 2010. Council and Committee Retreat held at Inga Hansen’s home. “Committee
Structure—mandates of committees outline briefly.”

Church Council has called a special
congregational meeting to be held on Sunday, November 7th following
worship. This will be a short meeting to
ask the congregation’s permission to proceed with the installation of rooftop
solar panels through the Micro Fit project and explain financing.”

starting point for the cost is $75,000.00.”

Church Council that a loan at prime from Rochdale Credit Union using our GICs
as collateral be applied for, in order to finance the installation and
implementation of the solar energy program. Carried.”

Bethany has completed another year with an operational surplus. To Bethany’s committees, Thank You for
carefully managing our expenditures. 2011
may be financially challenging, but will also be very exciting as we progress
with the Solar Project and the Building Enhancement Project. May Bethany continue to be blessed with
