“The Art Robinson family invited the congregation to picnic at their home.  A pleasant noon and afternoon was spent there.  We are also grateful for this sharing and ‘service’ within our fellowship.

The Hansens invited congregational members to an afternoon of sailing.  Thus, another avenue for fellowship and sharing of a different kind occurred.  Again, thanks!

We are all aware of the economic climate that persists, causing considerable concern, especially for those people affected. We note, with gratitude, that people are finding ways to cope.”

“The proposed budget for 1982 was presented by V. Jeanson.  Ken Bond, Property Chairman, mentioned that planned expenditures include shingling of parsonage roof, some aluminum siding on the parsonage and changing the windows in the hallway of the church.”

“Saturday, Dec. 10, we passed a significant milestone in the life of Bethany Lutheran Church: As we enter the 50th Anniversary Year, we have our goals set for “A Jubilee of Thanksliving.”  The Anniversary Committee has planned a terrific calendar of events for 1984.  It is a wonderful way to promote Bethany; but more especially, it is a glorious opportunity to witness and[i]serve the Lord.  May we celebrate together to God’s praise.”
